Liquid Detection- Battery Draining Issue

After the liquid detection prompt kept appearing on my Iphone ( despite it not being around water) the charging now doesn't work using USB and requires a wireless charging port. The battery is now also draining far quicker than it did before.

Are these two events related?

Also other than your steps suggested is there anything else i can do? The error message now doesn't pop up but charging doesn't seem to work.

Thanks!

iPhone 13, iOS 17

The LDI can only be tripped by moisture. Moisture is not necessarily water. It can be other liquids, condensation, or humidity.

And yes, liquid damage can cause the issues you've described.
