Viewing images from a CD

I have (jpeg) photos on a RW CD that I want to view and perhaps move to a USB drive.

How do I do that? The mac book is early 2000 model, OS X version running 10.9.5 software.

I can't use it online, but it runs the installed programs.

Windows, Windows 10

Unless the CD is made in some odd, way, it should appear directly in Finder and you can browse it there to view the images and drag them over to the USB drive.

If its not showing up in Finder, make sure CDs and DVD are enabled in the Finder Preferences.

If it still won't show up, then you may need the App that originally created it to access it again.

Last resort assuming you can view the cd using your old computer or other....

  • do a screen-print of each pic and transfer those to your USB drive...(fyi... key presses to do this... Hold down shift, then command, then 3 or Hold down shift, then command, then 4....One copies the screen and the other will copy a selection that you select)
  • take pictures of the pic with your camera on your phone or your camera
