If you mean a mobile broadband (such as 4G) USB dongle, you would have to check with Vodafone what system requirements apply for the exact model. An appropriate Mac driver is needed for USB.
An alternative solution could possibly be one of the Vodafone mobile broadband hotspot devices (4G or 5G), which would allow a Wi-Fi connection from the Mac.
