PDF Hacking

hello, in the last few hours, I decided to open my email (as I do every day) and I went to check some things, I saw an email talking about a purchase of 513$, so I decided to open the PDF that was attached to see what had happened, so After I opened it, I realized it was strange so I closed it and now I'm scared that my phone is hacked (it's updated to the latest version of iOS and it's a newly released device)

Hello Gustavo33_

Apple devices include boot and runtime protections so that they maintain their integrity during ongoing operation. Apple-designed silicon on iPhone, iPad, Apple Watch, Apple TV, HomePod, and a Mac with Apple silicon provide a common architecture for protecting operating system integrity as per System security overview - Apple Support (CA)

So don't worry. Erase the PDF file and make sure to follow Use the built-in privacy and security protections of iPhone - Apple Support (CA) and Security and your Apple ID - Apple Support at all times.

Have a lovely day.

No, merely opening a PDF will not compromise your iPhone.
