Unable to change username on Apple Music

I keep getting an error whenever I try to add a profile picture to my account that my username is taken, but the only person with my username is myself.

What causes the "Something went wrong" error on Apple Music? When using apple music on both of my Macbooks, when i try to search a song, artist or profile - i constantly get the "Something went wrong. Please try again later." error. I have signed out & back in on both devices, restarted the app and both devices. From my knowledge I don't have 2 Apple ID's, and both devices are signed in using the same ID. I can't create a profile on apple music in windows I can't create a profile on Windows Apple Music. I type a username and say proceed, I complete it, but when I get to my profile section, there is only @ in my username and it is blank. I say edit and try different usernames, but it still doesn't work. [Edited by Moderator]
