Display iMac settlings

Everything has gone very pink. for example when I flag and email red it looks pink even though it’s described as red

how to fix?

Parallels, macOS 10.14

Before you start messing around with changing color profiles and/or calabrating new profiles.

Go to Apple > System Setting > Accessibility > Display and check two things.

1) Make sure that Increase Contrast: is Turned Off.

2) Make sure the Display contrast: slider to Normal

Plus Turn On Reduce transparency: if you want a solid menu bar, a solid Dock and solid window bars.

In Sys Prefs>Displays>Color, which profile is selected?

I think it was ‘iMac,’ I switched to ‘Apple RGB,’ and it’s a bit better. I remember they used to have these color calibration devices for the old tube macs but I can’t recall what all these settings mean. Thanks for your help.

They still have them for LCD/LED displays, but besides not being cheap, you really shouldn't need it... I suspect a deeper problem...
