Why can't I reply to questions on this forum?

I found a solution to the question on this thread: How to uncheck multiple items in Reminder… - Apple Community


Nobody else has replied, so I want to add my solution. But the Reply button is disabled, even though I am logged in. I can click "Me too" and "subscribe" but not reply.

That post was from 2021 that's why you can't reply to it.

Like razmee said, it's an old thread. Threads typically get locked after a period of inactivity. If you see this at the top:



...it's a locked thread and you can't reply.


My guess is the user's forgotten all about it anyway.

Why can't I reply to questions on this forum?
