Since up dating to masOS Sonoma 14.3.1 InDesign, Illustrator and Acrobat are constantly crashing. Can anyone help

Yesterday they all crashed as soon as I opened a document. I tried different documents. I resorted to using InDesign 2023 yesterday which behaved but today it's not. Yesterday I could sometimes open things in Illustrator but not save them. Illustrator is behaving today so far. Acrobat still crashes when opening any pdf. I have so much work to do, especially in InDesign. Any suggestions are welcome. Thanks

More than one antivirus app - This computer has multiple antivirus apps installed.

This is a problem, and most likely the cause of your issues. The correct number of third party "antivirus" is zero. You should keep the system and its built-in security up to date.

Antivirus software: CleanMyMac, McAfee, Trusteer, Apple, and Malwarebytes

Ouch!!!! Not only you have FOUR "antivirus" besides Apple, they are pretty darned bad (*) - first among those

being "cleanmymac", which is often dubbed "brickmymac", and with good reason.

(*) The only reputable program among these four is Malwarebytes - but it should not be kept running permanently in the background, only run manually if you have any reason to suspect something.

Please completely uninstall these, and then post a new report.

With respect and not to pile on to what has already been suggested

Specific to CleanMyMac aka “ BrickMyMac “

To put the CleanMyMac in context and the damages it may have or has already done.

This application can or will Muck Up your User Account ( Home Folder ) of this machine.

It does not touch the Operating System itself unless you consider your User Account ( Home Folder ) as part of the Operating System

Then in that specific context - it has Mucked Up the Operating  System

As for AntiVirus software .

There are some who believe removing all the Bits and Pieces of Both AV Software and Disk Cleaners. is much like a ticking time bomb waiting to go off.

You can spend a great deal of time and effort removing them and still not get everything removed

Hard choices at this juncture as what is the better way to put the computer right.

Working and hoping one gets all off or a more drastic measure and start over
