Connect ONLY Calendar.app to iCloud

Calendar app on macOS 14.3.1, on a work-owned laptop

I would like to connect this to my personal iCloud Calendar - but ONLY the Calendar.

If I go into System Settings -> Internet Accounts (or Calendar -> Preferences -> Accounts) and add an account, if I choose "iCloud" it attempts to set up the entire system with my personal account - including Mail, document sync, and encryption stuff for Messages and Health - none of which I want on this computer (and some of which I'm forbidden by corporate policy)

All I want are my calendars.

I tried adding them as CalDAV - which I can do successfully in another client like Mozilla Thunderbird - but I can't seem to find the right values to put in Calendar.app, either by Automatic, Manual, or Advanced. I've tried with my iCloud password >and< with an app-specific password.

I'm aware that if I sign in with iCloud normally, I can de-select all the other apps like Mail, Notes... but that's not 100% disabling all the integration, and System Settings keeps nagging about "some icloud data isn't syncing" (because I didn't feed it my iPhone passkey when prompted - which is only needed for the encrypted health + message data, none of which I am doing here)

Is there a way to make this happen? If so, how?

Appreciate anyone's insight!

Much appreciated!
