Can I connect AirTags to my iPhone and to my wife's iPhone?

Yes … but some clarification.
Airtags are “connected” to your AppleID, not “just” your phone.
You’ll be able to locate the tags from any of your devices running FindMy on your AppleID. (e.g. a Mac, an iPad, or a 2nd phone on your same AppleID)
However, you DO need to use your phone to make that initial connection.
Next … once the tags are on your AppleID, YES you CAN then share the tag’s location w/ other AppleIDs.
