Hello again,

After doing extra research about the product, it seems that the cable should be safe to use without harm to your battery or phone. It was recommended in a 9to5mac article, and seems to be sold at trustworthy stores, so you should be good. It doesn't seem to be Apple certified, but if a product wants to be Apple certified it needs to pay an extra fee to Apple for the sale of their device. So the company may not have wanted to pay the extra amount, but from online reviews, the product seems perfectly safe.

I hope this helps. 🙂

Hello,

If you check the box that the cable came with, if it has this logo on it, then it means that the product is Apple Certified and it should do no harm to your iPhone's battery.

If it doesn't have this logo, then it is recommended that you discontinue use of the cable and use the one that came in the box of your iPhone, or purchase an Apple Certified cable or an official Apple cable.

Please feel free to ask any more questions that you need answered. 🙂

No worries! I'm happy to help! Great to hear that you bought a new cable as well so that you have a backup. I have heard a lot of good things about Anker as a brand so great to hear that you bought one of their products that are Apple certified. If only it was less confusing buying iPhone cables. 😂

Have a great rest of your day 😊
