How does a family sharing member sign into apple tv

So I have family sharing set up. Now if one of those family members wants to set up the Apple TV app on their TV what steps do they have to go through to sign in? Do they go to settings> users and accounts & then sign in with their Apple ID?

Yes, each confirmed group member signs in using their own Apple ID. Then the content of the shared subscription(s) would be accessible automatically.
