Show purchased on Apple TV keeps showing in Up Next as available from Paramount Plus

This has happened on both my iPad Apple TV app and on the Apple TV set top box. I've been working my way through Criminal Minds, which I purchased initially on Apple TV, and suddenly starting this week, when I finish an episode from the Apple TV library it will sometimes show the next up episode in the cycle as streamed/linked from Paramount Plus ... but I *already own* it on Apple TV.

Apple TV missing episodes in showtime channel I bought a subscription of showtime in Apple TV and it appears now a showtime channel that I can see on my LG tv when using Apple TV app inside my tv. The problem is that Teacup episode S01E08 is missing and also The day of the Jackal S01E09 and S01E10 is missing also. I thing this is very strange that I pay for a subscription and I can’t see the seasons finals of those tv series. I had a 3 days test period and I now continue subscribing to see if the episodes would appear after the 3 days test period but the now I’m so disappointed because this is not what I thought I would get. Why would I want to pay for something and not be able to see the ending of the seasons?

Apple TV - purchased TV shows not showing up in “Up Next” I noticed after updating my Apple TV devices, my iPad and iPhone to the latest OS release 2 days ago, that shows I’ve purchased from Apple are no longer showing up in the “Up Next” area of the Apple TV app. If I search for these shows and manually add them to Up Next, I’m not presented with the option to watch the purchased versions - just the versions that are available through streaming channels. I’ve confirmed this behavior with the TV app across all my Apple devices so I’m thinking that the 16.6 update broke something.

Britbox show access in appleTV britbox seems to be allowing access via AppleTV to only the first episode for some shows. Then forcing you to the app for subsequent episodes. Since the subscriptions (and EULA) are different, according to previous threads in this community, that doesn’t seem legit. Also … britbox just cranked their ATV subscriptions by, like, 22%. so … less access … more cost. what am i missing?
