Mass Deleting App Files using iOS Files

I have 5,500 files in a directory I would like to delete.

Files Select All appears to work but just does not appear to move the files to the Recently Deleted (trash).

I can sort by size and delete the bigger files like 100 at a time but that is a bit painful.

Any other suggestions?

Unfortunately, iOS's Files App doesn't currently support true mass deletion for all files at once. However, there are a couple of alternative approaches you can try depending on the origin of these files:

If you had those files on other Cloud Drives (iCloud Drive, Google Drive, OneDrive, DropBox, Flickr, box, AmazonDrive, Adobe Creative Cloud etc). Kindly access them through a web browser and choose the option to delete them all at once.

You may get better and prompt responses if you may kindly provide the iPhone Model that you have and the iOS version if it is known to you and re-post.

With the limited information that you have provided, It is hard to even guess the problems faced by you.
