Therefore that means activation lock was not bypassed. Activate lost mode and activation lock now.

Read this support article about what to do if a iPhone or iPad is lost or stolen -->

Find your lost iPhone or iPad with Find My - Apple Support

- Note that if you remotely erase your device as instructed in this article, if you subsequently remove it from your account as in this article --> Check your Apple ID device list to find where you're signed in - Apple Support , then according to this article --> How to remove Activation Lock - Apple Support you remove activation lock from the device. That means if it was stolen, then a finder or thief now has a working device that can be used by another person.

Activation Lock cannot be bypassed. It can be removed by entering your credentials on your iPhone screen, but it will still be listed on your iCloud as long as your Apple ID is still signed in. If someone has your password to remove Activation Lock then they can also sign you out of your Apple ID and enter their own. If that is done you will no longer see it in iCloud and not be able to access the device anymore.
