Ikea Kitchen Planner

Hello
I'm trying to download the Ikea Kitchen Planner but get the message: ResNotFound:(PluginInstallMac_DownloadMount and ResNotFound:(PluginInstallMac_RestartBrowser. Then, what looks like the final stage of downloading, am instructed to drag and drop the 'NP2020Player.plugin' to the 'Internet Plug-Ins'. When I do this, nothing happens. Any clues for the cluless? Many thanks Bristolgirl.

Ikea Kitchen Planner Minimum System requirements:
*PC running Windows 98, ME, NT, 2000, or XP Pentium II* processor with at least 128 MB of RAM, 30 MB of free hard drive space, 16 MB of Video RAM with 1024 x 768 minimum screen resolution (XGA) and 16 bit color.

You should read the system requirements prior to downloading/installing anything onto your Mac to avoid damaging your system.

This is the information I get fro Ikea::

System Requirments
The new IKEA Home Planner tool is a web based application using a browser plug-in. The system requirements are:
1 gigahertz (GHz) equivalent or faster
32MB Graphic card
1024 x 768 Display resolution
Broadband Internet connection
Win XP or higher
Windows Browsers: Internet Explorer 6.0 / Firefox 3.0 or higher
MacOS X 10.4 Tiger or higher (Intel only)
Mac Browsers: Firefox 3.5.7+ / Safari 4.0.3+

Three plug-ins are available: one for Windows Internt Explorer, one for Mozilla FireFox and one for Intel Mac's running Leopard (Safari and FireFox). When accessing the URL for the IKEA Home Planner, a page for downloading the appropriate plug-in will be showed if not already installed.

Welcome to Apple Discussions!

Note from the specs, that your machine has to be an Intel Mac to use the planner. Since 10.4.11 can run on both PowerPC and Intel Mac, identify your Mac by identifying if it is one of the ones that can run Snow Leopard (barring the RAM requirements) on this page:

If it is not, you might want to try one of the PowerPC emulation solutions on my FAQ*:

http://www.macmaps.com/macosxnative.html#WINTEL

VirtualPC is no longer produced, but some may have it in used Mac software stores. If you can't find an emulator that will work for you, contact Ikea and let them know their website author needs to learn how to make a browser agnostic webpage. Many tips exist on http://www.anybrowser.org/
