How to fix missing iMessages icon on Mac Pro

how can I get iMessages back on my Mac Pro?


I recently purchased a new Mac Pro and today the iMessages disappeared. The icon is gone and I cannot find it anywhere

You should be able to find the Messages app by going to Finder-->Applications. It should reside there.


If it's not there (and I've no idea why it shouldn't be, unless someone moved it), you can click on the Spotlight search icon (should be at the top, towards the right on your MacBook's screen) and search for Messages.


It should also appear if you click on Launchpad and swipe thru the various screens for it.


I don't believe it's possible to actually delete the Messages app itself, so it's on your Mac somewhere.
