help please.

I purchased an iPad 2022 64gb today. Gat to the part to download from iCloud Apple ID but forgot my password so I changed it. Entered my new password and all I’m getting at the bottom of that screen is the circle going round and has done for 30 minutes with no change. What is going on please. Keith

Click ▶︎ Reset your Apple ID password.
