Question

iTunes not Syncing files to iPhone

I’ve recently added new files to my iTunes and that worked fine.

Then plugged in my iPhone xe to add these to the phone.

however even though iTunes says the phone is synced it isn’t… nothing has changed on my phone.

i also wanted to change the folders to the synced on my phone but, by choosing sync from the left hand menu on iTunes, I can only sync (unsuccessfully) and not change the folder to be synced option.

Any advise would be welcome!

Look at the device settings:

... and also don't look on the File/Devices/Sync menu.

Selecting the option I've highlighted in the screenshot displays the Device/Settings/Summary pane. Switch to the Device/Settings/Music pane:

See Sync iTunes content on PC with your devices - Apple Support. When choosing to sync music there should be an option to sync the entire library, or selected playlists, genres, artists, and albums.
