Stolen Device Protection is a good addition but ruined my FaceID

I have an iPhone 12 Pro Max with iOS 17.3.1. I turned on Stolen Device Protection, which I thought was great for added security, but unfortunately I have the following issues:.

  1. Face ID isn't working any more.
  2. I am in a familiar place, my home, and I can only use my passcode
  3. It's been 4 hours
  4. Security Delay is not active. I don't know how long I have to wait.
  5. Shutter doesn't work in portrait mode, bury background doesn't activate
