How can I show I am a retired teacher. I retired 15 years ago and need a new computer and would appreciate a teacher discount.

I'm afraid, since Apple does not mention that in the Sales & Refund Policy, retired teachers can't get a discount. But only the official Apple Support can give you a definitive answer.
My advice would be to try at the store as a similar situation came up about 8 years ago when visiting our local Apple Store. My partner (a retired teacher of 8+ years) and after some discussion was kindly offered the education discount when purchasing a MacMini.
I suppose the moral of this (if there is one) is: "nothing ventured nothing gained" etc.

I know that currently employed educators can receive a discount. I do not know about retired or seniors receiving a discount. Different category.
