PAGES ON MacBook Pro won't open after update to macOS Sonoma Vs 14.3.1.
This is the message I get when I try to open my document. When I click on "Browse All Versions", it says there are no previous versions.

This document is for some unexplained reason damaged to the point that Pages cannot open it. There may be content used in the creation of that DOCX that Pages translation module doesn't support and it simply gave up. You would need to have created that filename (.pages) in Pages and saved it at least twice before there would be any version history, and then the document would have to be saved on a filesystem compatible with Pages.
Rarely, but when I do encounter this dialog, I open the DOCX in the current (24.2.1) version of the free LibreOffice Suite, and then save as a different name to another Word 2010 - 365 DOCX document. My personal taste is to replace white space in the filename with underscores '_' though Pages doesn't care. Then, after the LibreOffice treatment, it is very likely that Pages can open the document normally.
