Hello. You wish to find a URL code on your iPhone.

Unfortunately phones don’t have URLs.

Phones do usually have carrier-provided telephone numbers, and serial numbers, and IMEIs and some other numbers, of course.

URLs, not so much.

Maybe you’re trying to publish a way to receive phone calls via an HTML link on a website? (RFC3966)

<a href="tel:1-555-555-0101">1-555-555-0101</a>

Or maybe you want a QR code containing your telephone number?

Or maybe you’re looking for something else, such as a QR code or other code referencing some social media site you wish to use to publicize it to others? (If so, check the social media service support, as they usually offer generators.)

As these options aren’t what you want when you ask for a URL for your iPhone, maybe some background helps get you to the answer you want? Which apps or services? What is the URL for? Can you point us to an example of what you want?

A URL, which stands for Uniform Resource Locator, is essentially an address on the web. It directs your web browser to a specific resource, like a webpage, image, or video. Just like a mailing address helps mail reach a specific location, a URL helps your browser find and display the requested resource.

Locating a URL is quite straightforward. Here are a few ways you can do it:

  1. Websites: Every website has a URL. It's the text you see in the address bar of your web browser. For instance, the URL for Wikipedia is "en.wikipedia.org".
  2. Search engines: When you search for something online using a search engine like Google, the results displayed will include URLs that point to relevant web pages.
  3. Emails and documents: You might often find URLs embedded within emails or documents. Clicking on such a URL will take you to the linked webpage.

In essence, URLs are everywhere on the web, and locating them is a breeze!

Your iPhone does not have a URL.

“A uniform resource locator (URL), colloquially known as an address on the Web, is a reference to a resource that specifies its location on a computer network and a mechanism for retrieving it.“

When you write that you “want to do loads”, loads of what?

What app or website or service is involved when you “want to do loads?
