Setting up AOL's compuserve mail on iPhone 13

Totally new to Apple - got here eventually though!

I have had a [compuserve] email address since I first started out in IT. Don't want to change it. No need to change it. Too old to start again!

I am now attempting to use this address with the mail app on my iPhone 13 Pro Max using manual setup. So far I have had absolutely no success, so, is this possible?

I know my compuserve password is entered correctly. I have also tried a one-time password generated by AOL. Nothing works.

I would be eternally grateful if someone could provide step-by-step instructions to get this working. Bare in mind I am an absolute newby, so I need ALL the instructions.
