Cloud icon on apps and folders

The image below is my files on my MacBook Air. This MacBook is relatively new and I noticed today these clouds are sitting next to my applications. This has never happened before, they were never there, and I would like to know more about them and most importantly, how do I remove them? I never had this icon next to my apps and files and I know it has something to do with iCloud, but I don't really know or care about them much. If you could help, thanks!

iCloud icon next to folder in Finder On my MacBook Air (M1 2020) it has the iCloud icon next to my folder labeled Schools. I do not know what this Icon is and I do not know how to get it to go away. This is the only folder in my iCloud Drive that does this. None of the items in that folder have the icon either. If someone could tell me how to make it go away or what the icon means that would be greatly appreciated. I am on macOS 12.0.1.

Cloud icon always present in finder Hi there! I hope you can help me with this problem. I've recently decided to also use my iCloud subscription to store a lot of my personal files so they are always available on all my Apple devices. Very often after editing files or adding them, a full cloud (waiting for an update) or dotted cloud icon appears next to the folder in the finder. This happens for no reason because all the files are perfectly synchronized on the devices with the changes just made. Even clicking on the folder all the files are perfectly synchronized. Can I know why this icon appears and how to make it go away? Sometimes it is very annoying and the files are perfectly synchronized.

Folder in iCloud has dotted cloud icon next to it I don't normally use iCloud but I tried to start. The iCloud drive is there in my Finder. I created a folder in it from within the Finder and put some files in it which I then deleted. I am talking about from on my Mac in the Finder, not on iCloud.com. Ever since I deleted those files, the folder has a dotted cloud icon next to it to the right. I am not sure why this is. Does anyone know how why and how I can fix it?
