Using the contacts app in Outlook app

I use Outlook app on my phone and iPad for my mail. I would like to be able to have it read my contacts from the Contacts app. Is there a way to do this? Thanks.

Your contacts are not in the Contacts app, they are in a contacts database that the contacts app accesses. A fine point, I agree, but it makes a difference in accessing contacts from other than the contacts app. You need to determine where that contacts database syncs, then add the database to Outlook.

Go to Settings/Contacts/Accounts, and see which account or accounts have Contacts turned on. Then add that account to Outlook.
