Sharing Office 365 from Apple app store
I purchased Microsoft 365 on my MacBook Air. why isn't Office 365 which was purchased at the apple store available as a subscription to be shared with my family

Because there are different Microsoft 365 subscriptions. Personal, and family. The sub you purchased is personal. If you want a family subscription, you need to purchase that through Microsoft. Sharing that subscription is done through Microsoft’s portal.
