Move files from Trash to an External Hard Drive?

Is it possible to move files from the trash bin on my MacBook Pro to an external hard drive? I've deleted a bunch of stuff that I want to save… Just in case.

Move Folder from Mac to External Drive How can I move a folder from my Mac to an external hard drive? When I try it seems to want me to copy it to the drive rather than move it.
