Unable to sync Apple Music Library on PC to iPod mini.

I paid for a monthly subscription to iTunes so that I could purchase music and upload it to my old iPod. On my PC, I logged into music.apple.com and downloaded my desired music and saved each song to my Apple music library (on the same web page). Then, I connected my PC to my iPod via cable. I am having trouble locating my device on music.apple.com so that I can complete the sync. Thinking that maybe I'm on the wrong website, I went to apple.com/itunes and logged in. I still cannot see where I would sync my device. Appreciate any tips. Thank you!

You will have to sync your music to your iPod mini, using iTunes on your PC.

When you have a subscription to Apple Music you are not "purchasing music". Instead, you are paying for access to Apple's entire music library for each month that you pay that subscription. As soon as you stop paying, you lose access to that music.

Furthermore, unless I'm very mistaken, Apple Music cannot be added to an iPod mini as an internet connection is required, so that authorisation can be confirmed every now and again.
