How do I fix the typing glitch on my iPhone 12

My iPhone 12 is always updated. At times I can only type slowly one letter a time or I get a whole string of letters like this:wheuskejrusisn

. It took me almost a minute to type this page!

Until recently, it used to automatically correct my typos and offer suggestions for misspelled words. iPhone 14 Pro Max very lag in typing messages My phone experiencing an extreme lag with the keyboard since update months ago very annoying when typing messages. Can anyone assist to rectify the problem? I have been using iPhone for more than a decade I never had experienced this before. Since then the updated version is not workable for some of the model. I have tried resetting and on off the phone problem still persist. By typing this messages it used up 15minutes to complete as the auto fill messages always misspelled and I have to type alphabet by alphabet and slowly in order to get the right words. It’s really not user friendly for me to type hundred of messages daily.
