When I'm on a call using my iPhone 12, if a missed call leaves me a voicemail, my phone will cut out. I'll then not be able to dial out, I have to reset my handset. Literally every time without fail, I try and send text's to incoming callers saying i'll call them back, which works fine, but if they leave a message my phone drops the call.
Has anyone experienced this and if so how do I fix this?

This seems surely like a carrier issue. You need to contact your Carrier (Cellular Service Provider), the agency who issued the SIM to you.
