Unable to create Apple ID

I need to create a second Apple ID so that I can upload a podcast for a thing I'm doing with my school. I have gone to the https://appleid.apple.com/account multiple times and everytime I finish the form I get this notification: (It won't let me upload the image!) :( . Essentially it says that "Your Request Cannot Be Completed at This Time. Your Account Cannot Be Created At This Time."

I have tried on 2 different browsers (Safari & Chrome), turned my computer off, and tried with different names and such and I continue to get the same warning. How can I create a second Apple ID to just use with my podcast that is not linked to my personal Apple ID??

Thank you so much for your help! I ended up calling and spoke with a rep. It was a very simple solution: I had to create a new user profile on my computer so that the Apple ID would connect with that user only. He said that you can't create 2 IDs on the same profile user, which makes sense. So even though it was only online, it wouldn't allow me to create the account on this mac. I guess that's one thing that's positive aspect of ID security. After all of the rigermarole, I finally got it up and going & so now our podcast is officially listed in Apple Podcasts!!! YAY!

Thanks again for your help!

An "at this time" message appears to be a new, and unfortunately somewhat non-specific Apple catch-all error message. It could mean that you cannot connect to the Apple service you need to use, or it could mean there is something else wrong in your information entry (but it doesn't tell you what exactly), and once you correct that, _then_ it is the right time. ;-)

Check if Apple's servers are working: Apple - Support - System Status

Check what you are doing is valid and has all the information required. Sometimes an "at this time" message doesn't really mean something isn't working now but might be later; it instead can mean there is some other issue with the validity of the action (e.g., missing information) you are trying to perform and once you take care of that issue then it can do it. Check Apple's documentation about the action you are trying to do and if you still have problems contact official Apple Support:

Click here --> Choose your country or region - Official Apple Support Select your country, then a product. If you don't see one that handles your issue then keep experimenting with selections until you reach one that gets you a chat session or a telephone call and get the representative to redirect you.
