An Invalid Gift Card is usually due to the numbers being entered incorrectly. If you used the camera to read the Gift Card, try entering them manually. If you did enter them manually, then review this Support Article to view common characters that look like similar characters.

Using the Contact Apple Support link in the previously posted article is the final step when all other measures have not helped resolve the problem. As stated in the support article, usually when you get the Invalid message it is because one of the characters, that may look like another, was entered incorrectly. If that does not help, then Apple will be able to provide assistance using that link.
