When I play voice on web page(TTS; Web SpeechSynthesis API), it doesn't play on CarPlay even if CarPlay is connected, but it plays on iPhone itself.
Why isn't it playing on CarPlay? Is it a BUG?

Web Speech Synthesis API (TTS) currently doesn't work on CarPlay even though it works on the iPhone itself. This is because CarPlay does not support playing audio from web pages.
Settings > General > [Select your Car] > Customise > Do you see Safari here?
This is what I see for my Car, Kia Carens. See the poic below.
Safari does not exist on Customize tab. Of course, it's not for CarPlay.
HTML5 Audio tag is playing on Carplay properly, but Speech Synth does not. It's playing on iPhone.
Some page containing html5 audio and synthesis outputs audio to different path. One is through CarPlay, the other is through iPhone itself.
You can check sound by browsing YouTube web site on Safari. It plays sound correctly on CarPlay. (Of course, video plays on iPhone)
