How to prevent others from hearing conversations on phone calls with Marvel Cochlear Processor

Lately when I take calls on my IPhone or on Face Time my husband says he can hear the whole conversation. Conversations used to go straight into my processors. How to I endure others around me can’t hear my conversations? I know I don’t have calls on speaker and I click the Bluetooth button when they come in.

Re: How do I ensure others around me can’t hear my conversations?

Wondering if this Apple Support article (link below) for iOS17 can help:

While on a call on iPhone - Apple Support

Eg: says:

Adjust the audio during a call

To change the volume, press the volume buttons on the side of iPhone.

Or

swipe down on the call banner, then do any of the following:

    • Mute: Tap the mute button.
    • Put the call on hold: Touch and hold the mute button.
    • Talk handsfree: Tap the audio button, then choose an audio destination.

So when you are actually on a call:

see if swiping down on the call banner, and tapping the audio button, lets you choose the processors.

If you want to check your settings:

If your hearing device is compatible, when connected to it your iPhone may control microphone level (volume), audio presets, and more for your hearing device.

On your iPhone:

Go to Settings > Accessibility > Hearing Devices.

(To see more settings, tap the name of your connected hearing device.)

Else:

If your hearing device has its own app from the manufacturer, that app might offer additional settings and controls

All the best :-)
