Apple Wallet and Discover card
I received an email that says "Find your Daily Cash on your Apple Cash card. The Cash card in my Wallet says $0 Balance, and does not show that it's attached to my Discover card. How do I attach it?

There is no such thing as Daily Cash in an email. This sounds like a scam attempt to capture your account information. Please review the Apple Support article I linked below. I also suggest you contact Apple Support following the instructions and information in the article.

Apple Cash does not connect to credit cards. If you have a Discover Checking or Savings account you may be able to connect them.
Have you verified your Apple Cash account?
Identity verification for Apple Card or Apple Cash - Apple Support
There is a limit to the amount of funds in an Apple Cash account if the account is not verified. This is a requirement of federal banking regulations.
I received this same type of email today. I didn’t follow any links in the email because the amount reflected in the email doesn’t match the amount in the legitimate iPhone wallet app.
I do think this might be a scam
The email was from Apple about the cash back rewards and interest earned, and I wondered how I could get it to appear on “Cash” in my Wallet. The Apple consultant showed me how I could make that happen. He also showed me other features to add them to Debit cards, but not to Credit cards (like Discover).
The English language is a tricky thing.
I received an email from Apple Card saying “Congrats. You’ve reached <a new total> in Daily Cash.” It’s talking about Daily Cash backs on Apple Card purchases.
I think it’s legit. I just can’t get the total to show up on the “Cash” feature in my wallet.
Apple does cash back on Apple Card purchases. They also pay interest on that cash back. They put both in Apple Savings. Alternatively, you can choose to have the cash back deposited to the Apple Wallet Cash location, but it doesn’t earn interest there. The Apple Consultant (on line) was really helpful, and able to demonstrate all the Wallet features on my iPhone. Amazing technology!!!
The email sounds like an informational letter to make sure you’re receiving all the benefits you’re entitled to. I’m glad it was a scam, but in today’s enviornment it’s always better to be safe than sorry. 😀
Sort of helpful. What do I need to do to get the “Daily Cash” total from my Apple Mail email to appear on the Apple “Cash card” in the Apple Wallet?
I’m glad you were able to learn so much about the features and benefits available to Apple Card users. But how does this relate to an email you received?
