Cant access share drives after domain password change

After a client changed their domain password, they were not able to access their share drive. After some investigating the problem, I noticed that their iMac had come unbound from the domain after the password change. So after re-binding the iMac and logging the client back in, when they try to access their share drive, it won't even ask for their password. It will just show a "connecting to server" box, and then it will just redirect you back to the box where you select the share drive via Finder > Go > Connect to Server.

Things I have checked:

  • I can ping the share drive server or IP
  • I have tried removing and re-adding the share drive
  • Client has logged out and back in after rebinding to domain

Any help or advice would be greatly appreciated!
