my old phone wont turn on

My old phone (iPhone 12) hasn't been used in almost 2 years and I wanted to use it again, but i restarted it with the pressing of the volume buttons and all that, however now it's just has the low battery icon, even though I've had it on the charger for the past hour and a half, do I just have to plug it in to a different power source or...?

iPhone SE, iOS 14

Give it some more time on the power supply.

A battery which has been flatlined for an extended period may - or may not - allow operation.

Regardless, don’t expect this phone to EVER work reliably - without a cord - until it’s battery has been replaced.
