Airdrop from imac to iphone not working

So when I open airdrop on my imac (27” late 2015 3.2 GHz Quad core intel core i5-monterey 12.7.3) my iphone (12 pro max-ios 17.4) just doesn’t show up. It worked not long ago. Both on same WiFi. Toggled WiFi and bluetooth on both devices. I can send from phone to computer through airdrop no problem just not from comp to phone. Airdrop is on and set to receive from contacts which has worked for years. I’ve tried the receive from everybody setting. I’ve toggled airdrop off and on. Both OS’ are up to date. And bluetooth and WiFi work fine for everything. Why isn’t my airdrop working from Mac to iPhone? Anyone know?

I had same the issue after upgrading to iOS 17.4, I was not able to airDrop from my iMac 2015. First make sure the AirDrop Settings in your iMac and iphone are correctly activated .. then I reset my Network Settings on my iPhone...that works for me.

in my iPhone 13 Pro, Go to Settings > General > ( to bottom of page ) Transfer or Reset iPhone --> Reset ( --be sure to correctly select) > Reset Network Settings --> Now I'm back in business.
