Beatport Integration with Shazam is no longer available. It’s confirmed.

As a fellow ‘creative’ of the OP this is disappointing. It was a very useful tool/integration.

You said Beatport confirmed Apple cut off the deal with them. It doesn’t make sense??

Beatport is the biggest digital DJ site in the world for DJ’s,

and DJ’s are ‘creatives’. They are the ‘crazy ones’. They want to share the music they’re playing with their audience.

Watching fans hold their phones up to find out what that banger is (aside from recording a video) was awesome.

I’m not sure why Apple would deprive such a passionate community from connecting with their DJ.

With a 2.7 trillion market cap, it surely can’t be lack of cash reserves??

It’s times like these that I wish Steve was still alive. I’m sure he’d see the importance of ongoing support of this scene, albeit small.
