Double click button to pay not working on my iPhone
When I try to use the double side button clicking for Apple Pay it just shuts off my phone, is there a way to fix this issue?

My guess is you're lingering on the first press of the side button? To bring up Apple Pay, you need to rapidly press the side button twice. If you linger on the first press, you'll just turn your screen off.
