Safari: Login dialogue presented by Apple Store fails even though Apple ID is correct. Must reenter. Why.

Safari: When I have to log in to the Apple Store I get the dialogue box below. The email presented is correct. The login fails if I continue. When I choose “lUse a different Apple ID”, same email, same password, it works. Just a nuisance but why and can it be fixed? Same on all of my devices.

Safari (keychain) fills in the wrong password or email I have this problem with Safari a lot. When I create a login to a website, and Safari asks me if I want to save the login, I click Yes. Then later, when I revisit the same site, Safari auto fills in the login info, but then the site says it is incorrect. VERY annoying! The login box has only two pieces of info: my email address and my password. When I click on the disclose button on the password field, it does look like the type of password I create. So perhaps the email Safari filled in is wrong? Why does Safari do this? Another problem is when I click Login or Continue, and the website returns the message that it is the wrong password/email combination, Safari sometimes asks me if I want to save the login! Why would Safari do this? Is Safari that stupid? Can Safari not read or detect that the website is returning an error? How long has Apple had to refine this feature? Poor software like this is why many people find passwords to be such a pain and why bad passwords and bad security are such an issue to this day.

Safari 17.2.1 and Delta website login Hi, Is anyone having trouble logging in to the Delta Airlines website with the newest Safari update? I can no longer log in. I get an error message saying it doesn't recognize my login account. If I use another web browser, I have no problems. Delta tech service says it's not on their end. That seems to be the case. How do I report this issue to Apple?

Cannot log onto Santander account with Safari 17.1 I enter my Personal ID successfully, and then attempt to enter my Security number. The entry field for Security number turns yellow and one or 2 (seemingly) random digits appear in the field. There appears to be no way that I can gain control of that field to enter the required Security number. If I use Firefox 119.0.1 then I can log on with no problem.
