I have had to make various settings on my desktop computer due to my broadband providers server modifications. When I last did this, turning on my laptop scrambled all the new settings. Can anyone please tell me how I can stop this happening.? Should just turn off iCloud until I can alter the settings on my laptop?

Any chance you could provide more details on exactly which settings you're referring to, and how they appear when they get "scrambled"?
Hello Mike. The settings are those for setting up revised email accounts on my Mac but when turning on my laptop to do the same, my Mac email settings automatically change to those out of date settings on my laptop before I get chance to change them on my laptop.
Your last reply I received by email does not show here. However I have been through all the support options which have not helped. I think I will try my original idea of turning off Mail in iCloud.
Mike I have tried all the Change Settings options several times which doesn't help but I can't see how that can stop my laptop scrambling my Mac settings anyway.
