Why is my phone still Locked after I payed off with tmobile and they confirmed it is fully unlocked on their end?

I payed off my phone and requested an unlock, my phone (iphone 13) is was fully unlocked on their end but still has a message "Carrier Lock" SIM locked. Is there a way I can fix this through apple? I boutht the phone at a tmobile store. They checked that it is eligible for unlock before unlocking and still no unlock. please help.

The phone was not unlocked. If it was, you would see the message "No SIM Restrictions".


Is there a way I can fix this through apple?


No. Only the carrier can unlock the phone.


They checked that it is eligible for unlock before unlocking and still no unlock. please help


Contact the carrier again and ask for a senior support person.


If someone told you that Apple could unlock the phone, they are wrong. Apple has nothing to do with this process.
