Apple Watch I don’t own receives my Notify When Left Behind?!

I recently noticed in FindMy that there’s a Notify When Left Behind notification set to be received by an Apple Watch. The problem is I never set this notification and I don’t own an Apple Watch, nor have I ever. I am unable to remove the notification or set it to OFF. The Apple Watch doesn’t show in Devices in FindMy or anywhere else when I look. Unfortunately, to my knowledge, Apple doesn’t let us see the history of devices that have gone in and out of our Apple IDs…

I have never caught it in my iCloud or under my Apple ID.

The support agents on the phone say that it’s normal. But I have seen the notification suggesting to be set to an iPhone in the past. Which made sense since I own an iPhone (and a MacBook that could be left behind).

I believe Apple pays high salaries to hold a high standard of quality in the apps it makes available. This is why « Yes, notifications going to an Apple Watch you don’t own is normal. » doesn’t make sense to me.

Can anyone shed some light on this or share how you got out of this, the case being?

iPhone 15, iOS 17
