"why I get alternatively « Trust this computer » followed by « Trust (personalized name)´s MacBook Air »

I personalized my MacBook Air’s name under General in Settings. It has been the same name for months and since purchase directly from the Apple Store.

Can someone explain why I get alternatively «  Trust this computer » followed by « Trust (personalized name)´s MacBook Air » when I attempt again to initiate a Hotspot session between my iPhone and my MacBook Air?

It becomes concerning when additionally to not being referred to by its name in the authorization popup, the connection fails for my MacBook when I it’s referred to in the popup??

I already know that « Apple devices don’t get hacked. »

Well if that’s the case, why don’t I see my MacBook on the list of devices that used data under Hotspot via Cellular from under my Apple ID? What I see is « other devices » consuming my data, while I’m forced to trust this (unnamed) device instead of mine.

Really Apple!?

Thanks in advance to anyone able to make it make sense.
