How to recover multiple deleted playlists on iTunes

I deleted a playlist folder that contained multiple playlists and I have tried everything to recover them

I normally use Windows but it was not working on there so I tried my girlfriends mac

I could not download itunes on it as she did not want to update her mac so I tried through apple music on mac with no success

I tried restoring my phone to a previous backup which worked temporarily but it would not allow me to turn on sync as I would lose them all over again

I also could not figure out how to reset my icloud music library and make my the one on my iphone the main one

Please help.

Hi there ,

The first thing you need to understand is that the term " Apple Music " is often incorrectly interpreted ( from my observations ) . The Apple Music app is your former

" iTunes Library " containing items from the iTunes Store and any music uploaded from

CD's & is yours to keep .

The Apple Music subscription is a streaming service , you're paying to listen to the music not buy it . It's like renting an iTunes library .

That said , iCloud music library syncing is a feature of the subscription service .

If that's what you have and there was any interruption in your subscription , the contents disappear and you have to start over .

If that's not what you have , do a search on your desktop to find out if it's on there .
