Unable to access an Excel file. Messge states that the file is unavailable

Apple Mac Ventura. 13.6.4 : This file has either been deleted or is currently unavailable." Excel file.

iMac 21.5″, macOS 10.13

Open finder. Navigate to the location of the file. Do not choose a file by using the recent documents list. Navigate to the actual location where you saved the file on your drive.


Odds are it no longer exists there. It has been moved or deleted. You have been using a shortcut to attempt to open a recently used file that no longer exists.
