WhatsApp pics are appearing duplicated on Photos on iPhone

Here’s the solution if your facing double pictures being downloaded in your photos in iPhone..

you will need to update your wats app,

please follow the steps below..

How to update:

1/ Go into the ‘App Store’

2/ Click on your profile pic (top corner)

3/ Scroll down until you find ‘WhatsApp’

4/ Hold your finger on the WhatsApp icon (do not click open)

5/ Another window should appear with an update button visible.

Click this and you’re problem is solved

seems like an update issue.

happening with everyone.

turn off save to Camera Roll (settings > Chats) Option for a few days till Apple fixes the bug. Or merge the duplicates in the gallery

They have released an update, once you have installed that you shouldn’t experience the same issue anymore.
