iPhone photos do not show on PC

I tried all the methods I could find on the internet, but none of them worked. The methods I tried include:

  • Rebooting iPhone and PC
  • Resetting location and privacy
  • Reinstalling iTunes
  • Refreshing the device drivers in the device manager

When just connected to the PC, the iPhone device shows as this on my file explorer:

When clicking into it, one can see the internal storage:

When clicking into the Internal Storage, nothing shows up:

At this time, a pop-up shows on the iPhone and asks whether to trust this computer. As soon as I choose "Trust", the Internal Storage icon disappears:

At the same time, iTunes can still see my iPhone:

Similarly, another PC APP iCareFone can see all my photos:

But the photos won't show up in the File Explorer. This does not make sense, as iCareFone can see the photos, so there is no reason why they wouldn't appear in File Explorer.

Here is my system information:

OS: Windows 11

Windows, Windows 10

BTW, I also tried turning off iCloud, it didn't work either.
